Three Quebec restaurants named among the best in the world

Toqué!, Maison Boulud and Muffy have made it onto Forbes Travel Guide’s annual list of the world’s best restaurants.

The publication, which describes itself as “the world’s authority on luxury hospitality,” last week unveiled the winners of the prestigious Star Awards 2022 competition, which recognizes the world’s best upscale hotels, restaurants and spas.

Several Quebec establishments are among the winners, including Montreal’s renowned Toqué! and Maison Boulud. Muffy, the restaurant at Auberge Saint-Antoine in Quebec City, is also among the finalists.

In all, nine Canadian restaurants made the list. In addition to the three Quebec restaurants, there are five Toronto establishments (Café Boulud Toronto, Canoe, One Restaurant, Scaramouche and TOCA Restaurant) and Hawksworth Restaurant in Vancouver.

Several hotels in the province also distinguished themselves: the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, Ritz-Carlton, Crystal and Four Seasons hotels in Montreal, the Fairmont Tremblant Hotel and finally L’Auberge Saint-Antoine and La Bonne Entente, in Quebec City.
