Motel Motel is a fluid address with multiple identities. At first glance, a person passing in front will think it is a neighbourhood bar; they are not wrong. From another angle, the person who goes to the bathroom and opens the secret door that gives access to the party space of the address will probably think that they are dreaming, or that they have just entered a new dimension.
A fated alliance
Marc-Antoine Coulombe (Tendresse and Renard), Marina Rose Mammoliti, and Romain Jean-Baptiste (formerly co-owner of Paname) met at Renard several years ago. “We evolved and learned to work together. In addition to being good friends, our professional qualifications are perfectly complementary. It was only logical for us to join forces and open Motel Motel”, explains Romain.
A new neighbourhood offer
Motel Motel brings an offer that didn’t really exist before in the Village. “What we propose is a formula where you can make reservations to enjoy a good meal and party. It is also possible to rent out the establishment for events,” says Marc-Antoine.
What the owners offer is a 360° experience where you can go to drink, eat, and party until the wee hours of the morning; the best of all worlds!
A menu full of freshness
Chef Gauthier Wislet, assisted by Mika Carrier, is in charge of the kitchen at Motel Motel. Inspired by the seasons and available products, they compose a menu that evolves over time. You will enjoy small dishes designed to be shared, focused on vegetables and freshness. It is important to mention that everything you eat is made on site.
Where’s the party?
Although the establishment presents itself as a neighbourhood bar, its soul lies in the magnificent nightclub hidden at the back. Designed by Romain and Marc-Antoine, it feels like time stands still.
“There is no limit to what can happen in what we call the lounge. We have many ideas in mind, DJ lineups, and private events for example. What is certain is that we will have a lot of fun!” explains Romain.
Whether you want to eat, enjoy a delicious cocktail, or party like there’s no tomorrow, come to Motel Motel in the Village for a colourful experience!
