We all agree: avocados are an extraordinary fruit! To bring together avolovers—people who just can’t get enough of these green wonders—from all over, Avocados From Mexico has concocted a cooking contest just for you! The entries will be judged by our chef-ambassadors Aicia Colacci and Victor Soto who, like us—and probably you too—love avocados!
We’re looking for the most surprising recipes. We want you to highlight the incredible versatility of avocados: sweet or savory, for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack! Above all, we want you to have fun, use your creativity and awaken your inner chef. So don’t limit yourself to guacamole!
How do you enter? Simple. Put your cap on backward just like Victor Soto, get yourself some ripe avocados from Mexico, whip up your original dish and post your photo in the comments section of the contest post on our Facebook page. Don’t forget to tag Avocados from Mexico Canada and use the hashtag #avochef.
If Instagram’s more your thing, add your photo to your story. Tag @avosmexico_canada and @tastet.ca and use the hashtag #avochef.
If your recipe earns a spot in the top 5, it’ll be judged by Aicia and Victor. If it’s one of the three finalists, you could win big!
- Best recipe wins a Le Creuset cookware set (wow!) and a cooking class with Aicia (WOW!)
- Best presentation wins a KitchenAid mixer (your next cake batter is going to be amazing)
- Most original recipe wins a Cuisinart food processor (because cooking is an art)
