The Salon des vins d’importation privée Raspipav reinvites and reinvents itself!
Presented by the SAQ and hosted by the Regroupement des agences spécialisées dans la promotion des importations privées des alcools (RASPIPAV), the Salon des vins d’importation privée private import wines show—a not-to-be-missed event on the local wine scene—will be held virtually again this year, from October 14 to 17.
Shop from the comfort of home
Private import enthusiasts will have the opportunity to choose among 250 labels and place their orders through the Importation Privée website. The bottles will be delivered directly to the SAQ retail outlet of the purchaser’s choice by November 26.
The agencies carefully selected wines—from red to white, rosé, orange, natural, vegan, biodynamic and sparkling—ready-to-drink cocktails, artisanal beers, tequila and mezcal and liqueurs created by passionate craftspeople.
New this year is RASPIPAV Week. From October 7 to 17, aficionados will be invited to taste a selection of products in a hundred or so participating restaurants, bistros, wine counters and bars in 11 regions across Québec. The events are the perfect occasion to support local businesses and preview the products sold during the show. Go to the Importation Privée website to see the list of participating establishments.
In addition, on October 12, sommelier Véronique Rivest will lead a virtual roundtable with winemakers and agents to debate whether or not natural and orange wines are here to stay.
The Private Import Wine Show opens its virtual doors at midnight on October 14. Treat yourself by mixing and matching bottles to create your own bespoke case! And don’t forget the holidays, which are right around the corner. Your guests will be surprised and charmed by the private import labels they’ll discover at your table this winter.
Enjoy the show and the tastings!
