Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants 2025

List Air Canada 2025

The famous enRoute list of Canada’s Best New Restaurants is finally out!

How does it work? Experts from across the country submit their recommendations in the search for the nation’s best new addresses. Once the recommendations are in, Air Canada sends an undercover reporter on a cross-country marathon to determine which newcomers truly deserve a place on the list. This year, the national quest took them to Victoria, Burlington, and Winnipeg. From lobster éclairs stuffed with mascarpone to Spam corn dogs coated in panko, these 30 establishments serve some of the most unforgettable meals in the country, putting them all in the running for a coveted spot in the Top 10. Stay tuned—the announcement of Air Canada’s Top 10 Best New Restaurants in Canada is coming very soon.

Once again this year, Québec shines bright. Nine new Montréal restaurants made it onto the highly anticipated enRoute list of Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants.

Here are the Québec finalists for Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants:

  • Sushi Nishinokaze, Montréal – Located in Mile End, Sushi Nishinokaze is an intimate Edomae-style restaurant offering an exclusive omakase experience for just eight guests. Led by chef-owner Vincent Gee, the establishment highlights wild, local, and imported seafood prepared in traditional Japanese fashion.

  • Panacée, Montréal – In this sleek and elegant little spot, the young chef-owner serves refined, flavourful plates around a large central counter. A concept that fosters exchange and allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the Panacée experience.

  • Le Violon, Montréal – The team at Le Violon excels in the art of hospitality—both in the kitchen and in the dining room. A must-discover address!

  • Pasta Pooks, Montréal – At Pasta Pooks, Luca handmakes fresh pasta every day, and the results are absolutely incredible. They’re already ranked among the very best pastas in Montréal.

  • Molenne, Montréal – Open since February 2025, Molenne brings a delicious brasserie-style concept to Saint-Laurent Boulevard.

  • Claire Jacques, Montréal – Claire Jacques opened its doors in spring 2024 on rue Saint-Denis, right in the heart of Villeray.

  • Limbo, Montréal – Limbo, the new restaurant housed in the former Marconi between Little Italy and Mile-Ex, quietly opened on March 26, 2025. A true passion project, Limbo is sure to charm you.

  • Bona Fide, Montréal – Open since October 2024, Bona Fide took over the former Paloma space on Saint-Laurent Boulevard. An ideal place to share good times with loved ones in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Rôtisserie La Lune, Montréal – The much-anticipated new project from the owners of Mon Lapin, Rôtisserie La Lune opened in December 2024. Located in the same neighbourhood, it pays tribute to traditional Québécois rotisserie fare with the team’s signature creative touch.
