Québec table gourmande is finally here: the participating restaurants are revealed!
From October 30 to November 15, Québec table gourmande invites food lovers across the Capitale-Nationale to the table for its fall edition. In all, 80 restaurants are taking part with menus created for the occasion, served from lunch through dinner depending on the restaurant. The lineup is very enticing!
Quebec City’s largest culinary event
Québec table gourmande has established itself as the region’s largest culinary event. The participating restaurants include 13 tables recognized by the Michelin Guide, and nearly 70 producers lend their know-how to the whole. The project is supported by Quebec City, Destination Québec cité and Quebec’s Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation. It reflects a desire to place gastronomy at the heart of the capital’s identity. And in our view, it’s mission accomplished!
Set menus from $25 to $95, shaped by the local terroir
Each chef composes their own menu for Québec table gourmande, a personal score that reveals their style, their sensibility and their way of interpreting the terroir. From one restaurant to the next, a portrait emerges of a region, its land and the people who work it. A lovely tribute to local cuisine! The menus are offered at a fixed price, between $25 and $95, so fine dining tables sit alongside small neighbourhood spots in the lineup.
A fresh look at Quebec City’s dining scene
Since the Michelin Guide turned its attention to Quebec, the city’s culinary scene has drawn renewed interest. Québec table gourmande offers a take on it that is both ambitious and accessible, opening the doors of the best restaurants in the Capitale-Nationale.
