Second “pop-up with Gia, Damas and Les Pervenches
We can’t wait to introduce you to our second Tastet × OpenTable pop-up event!
On May 19, we’re continuing our series of exclusive pop-ups in collaboration with OpenTable. For this second edition, we’ve brought together three houses we deeply admire: Gia, one of the standout addresses in the Southwest led by chef Janice Tiefenbach, will welcome Fuad Alnirabie, chef-owner of the legendary Damas, an iconic Syrian restaurant in Montreal, along with Véronique Hupin and Michael Marler of Les Pervenches vineyard, whose bottles, among the most sought-after in Quebec, grace the wine lists of the city’s best restaurants.
Three houses, one table
In the kitchen for this pop-up, the immensely talented Janice Tiefenbach will craft a 4-course menu hand in hand with Fuad Alnirabie, a defining figure of Montreal gastronomy. A rare meeting of two culinary worlds that we have the chance to bring together for one evening only. In the glasses, the rare and coveted cuvées of Les Pervenches vineyard will be paired with each course, all in the warm glow of Gia’s dining room (or out on the terrace). And of course, with a touch of Tastet!
A pop-up not to be missed
This is exactly the kind of evening we want to create more often: putting cuisines, terroirs, and personalities that don’t usually cross paths into conversation. Janice, Fuad, Véronique, and Michael are people who defend their craft with conviction, each in their own way, and that’s what we want to share with you around a single table for this event. One seating, around a hundred guests, dishes designed especially for the occasion: that’s what awaits you for this second chapter of the series of pop-ups.
