Boefish: High-end steakhouse in Sherbrooke

Sherbrooke offers an abundance of culinary delights, mostly concentrated in the heart of the city. But if you go slightly further afield, you’ll find Boefish, the only steakhouse in the area to delight lovers of fine meats prepared with care.

A masterfully run establishment

Alain Campeau, co-owner and restaurant manager, has put a lot of effort into achieving the level of excellence he was hoping for. Adjacent to the OTL Gouverneur hotel, and catering mainly to a young, affluent business clientele, the establishment had to meet high standards.

Alain’s team is made up of passionate professionals who have a perfect command of their subject in order to satisfy hotel guests, locals and visitors alike. From reception to service and, of course, the meal itself, the team is dedicated to satisfying your wishes.

Classic, carefully prepared cuisine

Executive chef Lana Godbout offers a menu focused on top-quality, tender and flavoursome meat. You can enjoy excellent filet mignons, striploins, porterhouses served on the bone or even carpaccio, with fine cuts of AAA Angus beef.

The delights of the sea have not been left out of the equation, and for good reason; from the very generous surf’n’turf platter to the red tuna and the delicious lobster linguine, those who love fish and seafood will be delighted.

The wine list is not to be underestimated: there are some great vintages to satisfy even the most discerning palate, and you’ll be able to get the best advice on food and wine pairings, at the right price.

Luxe decor

Boefish is chic! As soon as you enter, you’ll be blown away by the large space with its subtle play of light, revealing the room’s main attractions: an open kitchen, a vertiginous glass wine cellar, two large bars and comfortable upholstered banquettes.

To make their experience even more unique, regular customers receive special attention. Behind a glass case is a collection of knives engraved with the names of their owners. The privilege of being able to taste your steak with your own knife is a wonderful gift from the restaurant. Who will be the next lucky one?

Bon appétit!
