Motel Motel: a nocturnal address with a unique identity, where mystery meets exuberance
From the outside, Motel Motel appears as a small, discreet bar — almost well-behaved. But step past the velvet curtain and the scene transforms: shifting lights, a hazy atmosphere, and inspired DJs spinning raw, hypnotic beats create an experience that is both intimate and electrifying.
At the helm of the project is Marc-Antoine Coulombe, also the owner of the ever-popular Bar Renard, its next-door neighbor. After years of collaborating on various festive and creative concepts, he envisioned this address as a place entirely its own — designed for fun, dancing, and connection.
Motel Motel : A space with two faces
At the front, a cozy little bar invites guests to warm up before the night begins. At the back, the tone shifts: an intimate nightclub awaits, filled with fog, light, and carefully curated beats.
A sharp musical identity
What sets this place apart is its curated music programming. DJs specializing in tech house, deep house, and minimal bring the space to life, drawing in a passionate, free-spirited crowd. The energy is immersive, inclusive, and true to the spirit of the Village.
A versatile venue
While Motel Motel no longer offers daily food service, the space can be privatized for groups, with a tailor-made menu available upon request. And on special occasions, the venue connects with Bar Renard for a night of shared revelry — much to the delight of the city’s night owls.
Whether you’re stopping by for a drink, dancing until dawn, or seeking a one-of-a-kind evening, this great place is the perfect spot for nocturnal souls in the heart of the Village.
Enjoy (re)discovering this hidden gem!
