Butterblume Épicerie: Take Butterblume’s Delights Home

Butterblume Épicerie is a charming annex located right next door to the beloved Butterblume restaurant, offering fans the opportunity to take home the restaurant’s famous delicacies!

Situated on Saint-Laurent Boulevard between Bernard and Rosemont, Butterblume has earned its place in Montreal’s culinary scene since its opening in 2016. Known for its delicious homemade dishes, simple yet nuanced cuisine, and cozy atmosphere, Butterblume now expands its offerings with this new addition.

The brainchild of Julie Romano and Nadine Boudreau, Butterblume Épicerie brings the essence of the restaurant to your home. It’s a true gourmet market in a modern setting, offering the same quality food for takeout. The goal is simple: to make Butterblume’s fresh, delightful meals available for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

When you step inside Butterblume Épicerie, the familiar atmosphere greets you. The owners worked with the same designers, maintaining their impeccable taste. The space is bright, with white tiles and Butterblume’s signature yellow accents. Inside, you’ll find a large counter, a semi-open kitchen, a fridge stocked with select foods, and a small bench for a quick bite. Butterblume Épicerie serves as both a takeout counter and a mini-grocery store, offering fresh vegetables, herbs, and thoughtfully chosen small items by the owners.

The Butterblume restaurant menu is available at Butterblume Épicerie: daily soups, meal-sized salads, quiches, hotdog sausages, buns, loaves, muesli, jams, ice creams, and the signature Butterblume ravioli. There’s also an array of baked goods—cake slices, cookies, scones, muffins, and the cake of the moment. Everything is homemade, and as always, delicious! To drink, you can order house-made iced tea and Butterblume lemonade, alongside ciders, wines, and beers. And of course, you can savor Butterblume’s coffee and even buy a bag of their beans.

Already fans of the original restaurant, we’re thrilled with this 2.0 version. It’s a little taste of Butterblume, to-go!
