Leméac
A true institution, Leméac is a chic French brasserie and one of Montreal’s very best, having passed the 20-year mark with flying colours. Still as relevant as ever, its continued popularity reflects the owners’ commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. Open on December 24 for lunch only.

La Fabrique
One of our favourite addresses for a great evening out. Expect delicious dishes, a warm and unpretentious atmosphere, and genuinely friendly service.

Marcus
The stunning Marcus blends seamlessly into the luxurious setting of the Four Seasons Hotel. It’s just as enjoyable for a drink and a bite as it is for a full meal featuring refined maritime flavours, whatever your budget. Open on December 24 in the evening, as well as December 25, 31, and January 1, 2025.

L’Express
An essential Montreal institution and one of the city’s best French restaurants. A classic known for its impressively consistent cuisine. This year, L’Express will be open for lunch on December 24, but closed in the evening and all day on December 25. The restaurant will be open on December 31 and January 1 during regular hours.

Bombay Mahal
A very popular Parc-Extension restaurant—and for good reason. Bombay Mahal offers delicious, affordable Indian cuisine with a bring-your-own-wine formula. Bar George
Bar George serves an excellent English-inspired menu in a magnificent space right in downtown Montreal. Open on December 24 in the evening, as well as December 25 and 31, and January 1.

Lester’s Deli
While the menu is extensive, the legendary smoked meat sandwich steals the show. Lester’s meat is cured for 72 hours in a house brine—easily one of the best smoked meats in Montreal.

Maison Boulud
Looking to celebrate a chic Christmas? Maison Boulud is open on December 24 with a special holiday menu.

Le Boulevardier
The beautiful restaurant at Hôtel Germain is open for Christmas Eve. In fact, Le Boulevardier will be open every evening from December 24 to 31.

État-Major
One of Montreal’s best bring-your-own-wine restaurants is open on the evening of December 24. If you’ve got great bottles to enjoy and don’t feel like cooking, this is a top recommendation. Also open on December 31 in the evening.

Motel Ontario
Whether for drinks or a meal with friends, Motel Ontario is a true Hochelaga staple.
