Brothers Simon-Pierre and Xavier-Bernard Caron, known for their project in Little Italy (Café Caron et Frères) and their involvement in the growth of In Gamba coffee in Mile End, have expanded their operation to Knowlton in the Eastern Townships. September 23, 2023, marks the inauguration of their second café, occupying the premises of the former Bolt café. Welcome to Café Caron & frères Knowlton!

The Coffee Experience

The modern and minimalist decor of Café Caron & Frères Knowlton contrasts with its more rustic exterior. The stunning 30-seat terrace at the front of the establishment transforms, in the winter season, into a charming outdoor fireplace and small benches that add to the natural charm of the place.

Just like in the Little Italy branch, Caron & frères Knowlton offers a rotation of six coffee blends (Zab, Traffic, Structure, Hatch, Dak, and Yamabiko). You can savor them in various forms: latté, espresso, cappuccino, and much more!

Culinary Menu

In addition to presenting a delicious selection of pastries made by Les Touriers and Brioche À Tête, all baked on-site, Café Caron & Frères Knowlton also offers an interesting variety of sandwiches. “It was important for us to offer lunch options! All our sandwiches are made on-site, and there is always a soup on the menu!” shares Simon-Pierre.

Drink In or Take Out

In the back of the store, you will discover a selection of local and privately imported wines, as well as beers from microbreweries and Quebec ciders. The establishment has a liquor license, allowing you to enjoy your discoveries on-site or take them home.

Visit Café Caron & Frères Knowlton to explore the new project of these two coffee enthusiasts who have successfully integrated their expertise and business model into the Eastern Townships without altering its charming picturesque character.”
