Good news for fans of gluten-free cuisine and Brazilian flavours: in May 2025, Tapi Go! opened a second location in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, this time on Monkland Avenue. Already well known on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, this cheerful and welcoming little spot continues to charm guests with its colourful tapioca crêpes and nourishing açaí bowls.
Behind the project is Luis Almeida, also the founder of the original location. In an intimate space with 12 indoor seats and 8 on the terrace, Tapi Go! Monkland stays true to what made the first location so successful: a laid-back vibe, quick service, and most importantly, a 100% gluten-free menu. The focus is on doing simple things well, with homemade recipes prepared with care and bursting with flavour.
Tasty, healthy dishes
The menu, identical to the one on Saint-Laurent, features the famous tapioca crêpes—pan-fried and folded in half—available in three colours: white, pink, or green, thanks to natural ingredients. Inside: generous, flavourful fillings. Our top pick? The “We The North”: a green crêpe filled with shredded beef, melted cheddar, sautéed onions, pickled peppers, and house sauce. Add the guacamole—it’s not just a luxury, it’s a must.
Vegetarian and sweet options are also well represented. And for fruitier cravings, the açaí bowls are a sure bet. Made with fruit from the Amazonian açaí palm, these bowls are as good for your body as they are for your taste buds: rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, and minerals, they fully deserve their superfood status.
Reasonable prices
As for the price, it remains accessible—between $15 and $25—for generous portions and high-quality products. Good to know: a catering service is also available for those who want to share the flavours of Tapi Go! at their next event.
With this new NDG location, Tapi Go! confirms its place as a growing gluten-free destination, powered by a colourful, healthy, and unmistakably Brazilian cuisine.
