As soon as you step into Buvette Beaubien, you feel right at home. With delicious and affordable small plates meant for sharing, a great wine selection, and a warm welcome, this neighborhood spot has everything going for it.

The vision of the owners, Dominique Goupil and Maxime Tremblay, has always been to create a welcoming neighborhood spot where everyone feels at ease. And they’ve succeeded! In a past life, Dominique was a painter, and despite the pandemic, she decided to venture into the restaurant industry out of pure love for the art of dining. Maxime, who greets guests with infectious energy, shares her passion.

A Space for Every Occasion

For groups of 20 to 40 people, Buvette Beaubien offers a beautiful private room, ready to host any type of private event. The team, in addition to being extremely friendly, is particularly flexible and will tailor the experience to your needs, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience. On warm summer days, the terrace, which can accommodate up to 25 people, is bustling with activity and beckons you to sit and relax.

Good Wine, Good Food!

The menu at Buvette Beaubien, which evolves slightly over time, is an invitation to conviviality and simplicity. You’ll find a selection of sharing platters, including charcuterie, cheese, and spreads, perfect for pairing with a glass of wine. Additionally, the kitchen offers some delicious shared plates and a Chef’s Choice menu at $38 per person. We had the chance to taste the “Full Pin” mushroom dish served on polenta, as well as the roasted Arctic char and the spicy garlic shrimp with chorizo. All the dishes were flavorful, rich, and made with local ingredients. The same philosophy guides the wine selection. The wine list offers a varied selection that caters to all budgets, with many great wines available by the glass. Whether you want to treat yourself or simply enjoy a drink without breaking the bank, there’s something for everyone. In fact, the Buvette proudly displays a selection of affordably priced wines in the window, perfect for enjoying on-site or taking home.

During the day, this space with about forty seats offers an equally delicious and affordable lunch menu. Buvette Beaubien is an unassuming little spot, but it adds to the charm and vibrancy of Beaubien Street East.
