La Cabane d’à côté — Mirabel —For the 2026 sugar shack season, Cabane d’à côté welcomes guests from February 13 to May 31. The restaurant offers a unique 15- to 20-course menu inspired by the great classics of the sugar shack, reimagined with all the creativity of the kitchen team. On the menu: comforting dishes that pay tribute to tradition, punctuated by more inventive touches, all served in a warm and festive atmosphere. Seatings take place on Thursdays at 6 p.m., as well as on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 12 p.m. or 6 p.m.

Cabane Panache — VerdunPull out your plaid shirts and get ready for sticky fingers from maple taffy: Cabane Panache, in collaboration with BENELUX and Coureur des Bois, is back from March 19 to 22, 2026 for its 14th edition—one that promises to bring Verdun to life. Considered Montreal’s largest maple celebration, the event transforms Promenade Wellington each year into a vast, sugar-filled playground that’s festive, indulgent, and unmistakably gourmet. Over four days, sugar shack traditions are reimagined in an urban, convivial format that’s accessible to everyone.

Le Mangeoir — Saint-Anicet is nestled just an hour and a half from Montreal. In the spring, this countryside table transforms into a sugar shack from March 20 to April 19. They prepare a discovery menu served in a BYOW format, set in a pastoral setting surrounded by gentle farm animals and the peaceful calm of the countryside.

La Cabane du Coureur — Montérégie — Just 15 minutes from Le Coureur des Bois, one of Montérégie’s best tables (local products, a farm-to-table approach, and an exceptional wine cellar), La Cabane du Coureur offers an epicurean sugar shack experience that’s as refined as it is welcoming. Tradition stays front and centre, with simple, straightforward flavours handled with finesse rather than excess. And for those who like their cabane flirting with gastronomy, the approach goes a step further—right at the restaurant’s edge—without losing the sugar shack spirit. The cabane opens on March 7. This year, pork takes the spotlight: every cut is worked, nothing is wasted, everything is valued—a local, respectful, zero-waste vision, cooked with intention. Three menu options are available:the traditional or vegetarian menu is $69, and the kids’ menu is $20. Book while there’s still space.

Parcelles — Austin — is putting maple front and centre this April. If you haven’t been yet, it’s a countryside table near Lake Memphrémagog, where the plate follows the rhythm of the farm and whatever’s being harvested on-site. The result: a lively, ultra-seasonal tasting menu that’s genuinely memorable. For April, their sugar shack menu is back, with a few nods to tradition—while rethinking how a good splash of maple syrup can elevate every dish. And just like a real cabane, there’s syrup on the tables. Available all month long: one seating at 6 p.m., $100 per person. Reservations are open now.
