Opened in September 2024, L’Oiseau is a café-boutique in Saint-Sauveur where golf and dining come together in perfect harmony. This project, launched by co-founders Philippe Foliot and Véronique Lavallée—with chef Arianne Faucher leading the creative direction and Sylvie Tassé overseeing purchasing and customer experience—stands out for its innovative concept.
Born from Philippe’s passion for golf, L’Oiseau was designed to make the sport—often seen as elitist—more accessible to everyone. The idea is to offer a high-end experience with top-quality golf simulators, all in a modern and laid-back setting.
The restaurant evolves throughout the day. In the morning, it’s a café-restaurant that revisits the classics with homemade dishes—highly recommended: the club sandwich. In the evening, L’Oiseau transforms into “Picolade” (a playful term likely inspired by the French verb picoler, meaning “to drink”) with creative tapas and cocktails. Chef Arianne Faucher has crafted a menu that perfectly matches the venue’s convivial vibe. As for drinks, the list includes both classic and natural wines, as well as reinvented cocktails—don’t miss the Spicy Strawberry-Rhubarb Margarita, a summer favorite. And during the day, make sure to try their iced drinks—you’ll be back for more!
L’Oiseau is also an inclusive space. Véronique, co-owner, points out that although she doesn’t play golf, she fully connects with the space, the food, and even the boutique’s apparel. The venue is designed to welcome both golf lovers and those simply looking for a great place to gather, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Families are more than welcome—there’s even a table dedicated to children, so everyone can enjoy the experience.
Golf simulators can be booked online, and the venue also hosts private events with custom menus for groups and companies.
