Tastet finally lands at YUL—in the Aspire lounge that tastes just like Montréal!

Montreal, brace yourselves. After twelve years spent roaming alleyways, lunch counters, wine bars, hidden terraces and other delicious hideouts we hesitate to share (but always end up sharing anyway), Tastet makes its very first appearance… in the Aspire Lounge at Montréal–Trudeau Airport!

Aspire Executive Lounges and American Express are unveiling a brand-new lounge in the domestic terminal—an ode to Montreal and its artisans. Here, no compromises: genuine Montreal products, locally designed interiors, and an atmosphere seductive enough to make you consider missing your flight “by accident.”

The Aspire Lounge tastes like Montreal

No smoke and mirrors here—the lounge puts local artisans centre stage, featuring:

  • Brasserie Harricana – unfiltered comfort in every pour.

  • Café Saint-Henri – because boarding a plane without good coffee is an act of self-sabotage.

  • Cocktails by The Cloakroom – elegant, precise, impeccably crafted… worlds away from your usual pre-boarding spritz.

  • Signature items from Édouard et Léo – simple, well made, profoundly Montreal.

  • And yes—St-Viateur bagels are present, as local religion demands.

An airport lounge that feels like a boutique hotel

Designed by Artesa and adorned with works by photographer Nicolas Ruel, this 3,700 ft² space is a clear departure from the classic “waiting room with USB outlets.”

With 100 seats, private booths, soft lighting and an elegant bar, the Aspire Lounge feels more like the lobby of a boutique hotel—where you momentarily forget that someone might remove their shoes next to you during boarding. A civilized interlude before the ritual chaos of take-off.

Tastet lands at YUL

Twelve years after its creation, Tastet arrives at Montreal’s airport—and we couldn’t be more proud of this first collaboration. The lounge even offers a direct link to “Montreal’s 101 Must-Try Places,” ideal reading while sipping an espresso martini or a signature cocktail. A gateway to the very best the city has to offer.

To us, this is far more than visibility—it’s our mission. To guide travellers, whether they’re arriving, returning or just passing through, and give them the desire to discover the neighbourhoods, the artisans, the chefs, cafés and bars that make Montreal the gastronomic capital of North America.

A lounge that sets the bar (very) high

Aspire Amex hits hard: eat exceptionally well (locally), drink exceptionally well (locally), settle in comfortably, discover artisans, read about this extraordinary city, and begin—or end—your journey thinking: Montreal really is unlike any other place.

This new Aspire Amex lounge isn’t just a lounge—it’s a showcase of what Montreal does best. And for Tastet, it’s a powerful symbol: the culmination of over a decade spent telling the story of the city… now just before take-off, right where the best travel stories begin.

Enjoy the discovery—and have a great flight.
