At Tastet, we love venturing beyond our beloved metropolis to discover great places across Quebec. Recently, we crossed the bridge to visit a new spot on the South Shore: Siège Social, located in Longueuil’s Complexe Saint-Charles. The project comes from the Groupe Super, the team behind Rufus et Anna, Junco, and Éléonore.

The décor, designed by blanchette archi.design, draws inspiration from the spirit of the building itself. Everything here nods to the 1970s: rounded chairs, green velvet stools, retro ceramics, and glass-block walls. Subtle references to the office world complete the vibe — file-folder-style menus, hanging papers, and framed office-themed art — charming details that give the space real character and personality. The result: a warm, lively, and inviting atmosphere.

At lunchtime, guests crave simple, well-executed comfort food — and that’s exactly what Siège Social delivers: a burger of the day, hearty salads, beef tartare, coquilles Saint-Jacques, confit duck leg, hanger steak… everything you need for a delicious midday break.

The restaurant also stands out for its very affordable prices. The express lunch menu, offered at $19.95, includes a starter and a main course, with the option to add a homemade dessert for under $5 more. The portions are generous, the quality is excellent, and the menu changes every Wednesday, keeping things fresh and exciting. It’s a great way to bring culinary variety to the neighborhood.

Another pleasant surprise: the signature cocktail list. Designed with office workers in mind, the drinks are low in alcohol — between 5% and 7% — allowing you to enjoy a refreshing cocktail without compromising your afternoon productivity. Highlights include Le Dactylo, a peach sour that’s fruity and charming, and Le Classeur Omega, a refreshing white wine and lemon thyme Collins.

Though housed in an office tower, Siège Social isn’t just for local employees — it’s also a perfect spot for a lunch with friends or a casual family dinner when you don’t feel like cooking. And if you’re in the mood for a lively atmosphere, note that Thursday and Friday evenings are particularly festive.

As a bonus, just next door you’ll find the Café Social, a small café counter where you can grab a quick coffee and pastry break or pick up a sandwich to go.
