Geoffroy’s favourites in Côte-des-Neiges
Geoffroy grew up in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood, studied at Collège Brébeuf and was even born at Sainte-Justine Hospital (!). A Montreal singer, songwriter and producer, Geoffroy has carved out a unique place for himself with his soft, contemplative indie pop. He’s also a big fan of culinary discoveries!
While he’s shared his music around the world, his playground remains Montreal — and Côte-des-Neiges, the neighbourhood he frequented during his school years. “My first memories of Côte-des-Neiges are going there when I was 12 or 13 to grab a $1.50 slice of pizza after school at Rodi Pizza,” says Geoffroy. Between Collège Brébeuf, $2 movie Tuesdays at Plaza Côte-des-Neiges, skateboarding around and watching hockey games in local bars, his affection for the area remains intact. “It’s an authentic, humble, multicultural spot, where you can still find gems on every corner. Everything is really real in Côte-des-Neiges.” — Geoffroy
Here are his favourite spots — enjoy the discoveries!
Mon Ami BBQ — 5179 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges
“Anything Korean is always tasty. It’s a great spot to go with friends or family.”

Sammi & Soup Dumpling — 5188 Avenue Gatineau
“That one is just hard to beat. Fast service, great value for money. Never underestimate a soup dumpling.”

Caravane Café — 3506 Avenue Lacombe
“Good place to study, unpretentious, people are kind and chill. Better than the chain options around. Support your local business.”
Resto-Bar La Maisonnée — 5385 Avenue Gatineau
“My go-to for hockey games, trivia nights and draft beer. We used to pre-drink there back in the day too.”
Pub McCarold — 5400 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges
“It’s perfect for just drinking… drinking and eating, pub-style food, hockey games, trivia nights too. If you’re hungry and want a good meal, go to McCarold’s.”

St-Hubert — 5235 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges
“It’s one of the oldest St-Hubert locations in Montreal. I used to go there for my grandparents’ birthdays. And I was also a regular at the Renaud-Bray across the street.”
