Located in the heart of downtown Montreal at Le Germain Hotel, The Boulevardier began welcoming guests in 2019, catering to both hotel guests and the general public of food enthusiasts. On the ground floor is the Flâneur bar, a very elegant establishment, and upstairs is the Boulevardier restaurant, both overseen by Bruno Durand. Flâneur offers sharing plates, an oyster bar (perfectly paired with glasses of bubbles), seafood platters, and expertly crafted cocktails, ideal for a festive happy hour or a late-night drink.

Upstairs, beautiful large plates await. “Le Boulevardier” is a direct reference to the cocktail of the same name created in Paris in the early 20th century, evoking La Belle Époque and the spirit of lightness that prevailed then. The décor — designed by Zébulon Perron (Caffe Un Po Di Piu, Montreal Plaza, Rouge Gorge, Marcus, etc…) — embodies the same era with a chic and sophisticated appearance, at the pinnacle of refinement.

In the kitchen, Chef Florimond Hannoteau prepares a menu in the style of a French brasserie while highlighting fresh and local products. French classics are revisited and modernized by the chef and his team, such as duck confit in cromesquis, wild mushroom ravioli, or lamb shank. The menu also offers more contemporary discoveries like poached calamari or hiramasa sashimi. A delightful blend where everyone finds something to enjoy.

To conclude meals at Boulevardier, the highly talented pastry chef, Alexia Proteau, offers delicious petits fours and particularly luminous desserts.

The tasting menu, available every evening, provides an overview of the chef’s signature dishes.

The sommelier prepares food and wine pairings and assists you in making selections from the spectacular glass-enclosed wine cellar. The wine list features French appellations in private import; Sancerre, Chablis, Burgundy, etc… Perfect accompaniments to the dishes on the menu.

The Boulevardier is a superb restaurant in the heart of downtown where you can enjoy delicious plates inspired by Parisian brasseries in a very elegant setting, served by attentive and caring staff.

They welcome you every day for breakfast, on weekdays for lunch, and every evening for dinner, even on Sundays. Business lunches are very popular with their set menu formula.
