In the heart of Little Italy, L’Osso offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine where quality ingredients take center stage. The name, chosen in homage to osso buco—a signature dish perfectly mastered by the chef—also nods to the word “bone,” referencing the very essence of the establishment.

Behind L’Osso is executive chef and co-owner Renato Ferrante, in collaboration with the Ruvo family. Together, they share a common vision: to deliver refined Mediterranean cuisine in an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. With a background marked by both rigor and creativity, Chef Ferrante brings his expertise to generous, well-executed dishes. L’Osso is the union of culinary tradition, a spirit of family, and true passion for the craft.

The decor is chic without being pretentious, comfortably accommodating 60 guests—whether for a family dinner, a meal with friends, or a lunch with colleagues. Particular attention has been paid to noble materials like marble, wood, and touches of teal velvet, which blend harmoniously throughout the space. The atmosphere is lively yet always warm. In summer, a front terrace seats about twenty guests.

The menu, carefully crafted by the chef, is divided into antipasti, gourmet antipasti, salads, pastas, risottos, chef’s specials, fish, and meat dishes. It features elevated classics like braised veal shank ravioli, seafood tagliolini, and of course, the must-try osso buco, slow-cooked and served with a saffron risotto alla milanese. The plates, both generous and elegant, encourage sharing and discovery. Meat lovers will be delighted. On the sweet side, the homemade tiramisu and Frangelico crème brûlée bring the meal to a smooth close. Prices range from $19 to $55, in line with the quality of the ingredients.

L’Osso’s wine list highlights natural, biodynamic, and artisanal bottles, with a strong focus on French regions (Loire, Jura, Burgundy, Rhône), as well as select Italian, Spanish, and other international gems. It’s a dynamic and thoughtful selection, ideal for curious wine lovers. The average bottle costs around $70, with both affordable options and a few prestigious labels for connoisseurs.

The service is professional and attentive, accompanying each moment with just the right touch to offer an experience that is both luxurious and relaxed. The team is also highly responsive—don’t hesitate to reach out with any special requests, which they will handle with finesse.

L’Osso is a top destination for discovering elegant Mediterranean cuisine in a warm setting, where great taste and generosity go hand in hand.

Enjoy the experience!
