Tastet’s favourite addresses participating in MTLàTABLE

This year marks the 8th edition of MTLàTABLE, and the event is returning with a bang. With a whole host of amazing activities on offer, event-goers will have many chances to meet fellow food enthusiasts, discover new local products, and enjoy exclusive culinary experiences. Throughout the city, restaurants, bars and cafés will be participating in MTLàTABLE by offering special menus at discounted prices. To celebrate this unique opportunity, Tastet has joined forces with MTLàTABLE to highlight some of the best addresses that are participating in this year’s festival.

From November 1st until November 13th, MTLàTABLE will be celebrating Quebec’s agricultural production community by putting the spotlight on local products and producers.

With over 150 different addresses participating, there are countless restaurants, bars and cafés for you to visit during these two weeks. To help make the decision making process a little easier, we have compiled a list of our own favourite restaurants that are participating in the event, all of which are well worth checking out.

Every restaurant on this list is offering a three-course table d’hôte at a reduced price, between $23 and $43. Although these prices don’t include a food and wine pairing, we always suggests adding one on to round out the experience.

With such low prices and amazing gastronomic destinations on the list, there is no better opportunity to explore Montreal’s culinary landscape and discover new gourmet addresses. In addition, many of the participating establishments have included vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options in their special menus.

As if that wasn’t enough already, MTLàTABLE has put yet another offer on the table: the signature events. For two-to-four evenings only, seven of Montreal’s top restaurants will be serving a special five-course (or more!) table d’hôte menu for $83. Among these seven establishments are some of our all time favourites, including Jellyfish, Renoir, Pastel and Le Filet.

Don’t wait too long to book your spot because the number of places available is limited!

Beau Mont Restaurant

“Du beau, du bon, du Beau Mont!” This could be the slogan for Christine Lamarche and Normand Laprise’s new restaurant, Beau Mont. Located right at the junction of Parc-Extension, Ville Mont-Royal and Outremont, Beau Mont is one of the best Quebecois restaurants in the city. Honouring the beauty of local products is at the centre of their mission, and the result is an amazing contemporary menu that showcases the flavours of Quebec’s terroir. Beau Mont combines the elegance of restaurant Toqué with the friendliness of Brasserie T to create an atmosphere that is both chic and comfortable.  The bill usually grows pretty quickly at this address, but with MTLàTABLE’s special offer, you can enjoy the complete Beau Mont experience for only $43! The kitchen will be serving a three-course meal of seasonal dishes along with a suggested wine accompaniment.

The interior, designed by the renown Zébulon Perron, perfectly compliments the menu of colourful, fresh and inspired dishes. To sum it all up, restaurant Un Po Di Piu is the embodiment of the Dolce Vita, and should be enjoyed with a spritz in one hand and an antipasto in the other.  Come (re)discover this beautiful address during MTLàTABLE with a special $33 menu, including a vegetarian and gluten-free option.
