Gourmet Tours of “Real Wine” in Montreal : natural, organic and biodynamic

Update 14 November 2019   |    Published on 14 November 2019

Gourmet Tours of “Real Wine” in Montreal : natural, organic and biodynamic –  The TASTET x Montréal en Lumière Gourmet Tours are back, and just in time for the impending holiday season! With the help of your feedback from 2019, the TASTET team has prepared six new and exciting themes for this year’s tours. This time around, you are invited to discover the worlds of saké, “real wine”, hidden bars, Greek cuisine, Chinese cuisine, and Italian cuisine in Montreal.

Have you always wanted to learn more about the wine you drink, but never found the right opportunity? Now is your chance! The wine culture, especially in Montreal, is becoming increasingly focused on natural, organic and biodynamic wines, which are often categorized as “real wine”. We created this tour to help demystify the confusing world of “real wine”, along with the help of Steve Beauséjour, wine representative at Rézin and man in charge of the wine lists of some of Montreal’s top restaurants. Attention! This tour is not for experts, but simply for anyone who wants to discover new wines and learn about how they are made. We will be visiting some of our favourite addresses to enjoy “real wines” in the city, discussing the histories and individuals behind each bottle, meeting a handful of true wine enthusiasts, and above all else, having fun tasting unique and delicious wines! On this tour, there is no such thing as a stupid question; we’re all there to have fun and learn.
